Taku Winds, conducted by Alan Young, plays music by Bach, Sousa, Grainger and more. You will hear some familiar tunes such as the Shaker tune “Simple Gifts” (think Appalachian Spring by Copland), "Jesus, Joy of Man’s Desiring”, and African-American spiritual “Steal Away” along with some newer works by Galante, Ticheli and Maslanka. A great evening for the whole family.
