Studio Workshop: Portrait Medallion

Join Luke Graves for a three-part clay medallion sculpture course exploring the fundamentals of low-relief portraiture. Participants will create a polymer clay portrait medallion while learning to translate facial features into shallow depth, with an emphasis on proportion, planes and subtle surface modeling. Through guided demonstrations and individual feedback, artists will develop their work with inspiration from the sculpture of Edmonia Lewis. Space is limited and registration is required.
