October Big Day

Join the Louisville Audubon Society and the Louisville Free Public Library to celebrate October Big Day, a global birding event to observe, record, and celebrate avian diversity. We'll spend a fall morning looking for some of the hundreds of migratory bird species traveling through the Louisville area, as well as year-round residents, and contribute our sightings to the citizen-science database eBird. Birders of all skill levels are welcome, from beginners to pros. This walk will be at a relaxed pace along established trails. This event is made possible through the generous support of Genentech, a member of the Roche Group. Space is limited, so reservations are required.
