ChompShop Table Saw for Kids

ChompShop Table Saw is an exciting, hands-on STEM machine that introduces children to the basics of woodworking and engineering, in a fun, library setting. We will use the MakerSpace. With age-appropriate instruction and close adult supervision, children learn about tool safety, measurement, following directions, problem-solving, and building skills. I will demonstrate how the table saw works and the importance of safety equipment and responsible tool use. Kids will be provided with B-flute cardboard sheets and templates to create their masterpieces to take home.
