Whole Body Wellness

Join us for Whole Body Wellness at the Leroy D. Williams Memorial Library in Reserve and wear pink in support of cancer patients and survivors during Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Several activities are planned for this special edition of Whole Body Wellness: - Dana Hayes, a certified fitness instructor, will lead us through simple, beginner-friendly low-impact exercises to help boost our energy. Participation in the exercise portion is optional, and participants are responsible for any risks associated with physical activity. - Access Health Louisiana will share helpful information about breast health and show how to do monthly breast self-exams. - Healing Hands of Serenity Massage will provide practical self-care tips, ways to manage stress and muscle tension, and easy self-massage techniques that can be applied at home. Healing Hands of Serenity Massage will also provide complimentary mini chair-massage sessions! Pink-themed light refreshments will be served.
