Maine Food Producers Showcase

The biennial Maine Food Producers Showcase and Golden Fork Awards is set for Thursday, Oct. 8 in Portland. Hosted by the Maine Center for Entrepreneurs, the industry event spotlights innovation in Maine’s food economy. The showcase is aimed at buyers, distributors, retailers, chefs, foodservice professionals, investors, industry partners and community leaders interested in discovering Maine food and beverage companies. Workshops include a panel discussion of retail trends, and another panel of foodservice buyers and distributors explaining how they’re adapting to a changing market. The Golden Fork Awards celebrate Best in Show winners in food, seafood and beverage categories. After the awards, attendees can explore the exhibitor showcase and tastings. More than 50 Maine food producers will be on hand offering samples of their latest products.
