Believe in Magic

A new nonprofit's immersive celebration of fairy folklore, artisan craft, and community wonder is set to transform Nonotuck Park this September—with a Guinness World Record attempt in the works.

On a Saturday afternoon this September, the rolling green of Daley Field at Nonotuck Park in Easthampton, Massachusetts, will be overtaken by wings, wands, and tutus. The inaugural Fairy & Arts Festival, produced by the newly formed nonprofit Enchanted Arts Inc., promises six hours of immersive fantasy, live performance, artisan craft, and interactive art.

The festival is scheduled for September 12 from noon to 6 p.m.

The festival is presented by Nyxie's Whimsies and powered by Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory.

Enchanted Arts Inc., a 501(c)(3) charitable and educational organization recognized in April 2026, is dedicated to inspiring creativity, imagination, and community through arts, culture and immersive experiences. The nonprofit's mission extends beyond the festival itself, encompassing arts programming, community partnerships, artist recognition, and educational initiatives—including a planned "BELIEVE" awards program to support local artists. Proceeds from the festival will directly fund this ongoing work.

The festival's ambitions are considerable. Organizers are pursuing a Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed as fairies in one location, and encourage attendees to dress like fairies to participate.

Beyond the record bid, the festival is designed as a full sensory immersion. General admission tickets—$20 for adults, $15 for children ages 3 to 17, with a $60 "Fae Circle" family pass for up to four—include access to live fairy performances, more than 25 artisan vendors, live music throughout the day, a Fairy House Trail, a crystal and gem dig, storytelling and literary arts, interactive experiences, curated faerie food vendors, and magical photo opportunities. A pay-what-you-can ticket option is available exclusively through the festival's Eventbrite page. Free parking is available.

A centerpiece of the event is the Fairy House Trail. In the weeks leading up to the festival, the community has been invited to build their own fairy houses at free workshops, including one at Dreki Soul on August 22. A Sip & Paint fundraiser with Magically MJ at Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory on August 28 offers another chance to support the cause.

The event is designed for all ages, with organizers explicitly stating that fairy magic is not just for children. "The Fairy and Arts Festival was set up to be enjoyed by people of all ages," the FAQ states. "Young and old are welcome to enjoy this creative, artistic and imaginative event and discover the inherent magic of nature." No refunds are offered.

As September 12 approaches, the countdown clock on the festival's website ticks down the days "until the veil is lifted." For one afternoon, Daley Field will become a place where fairies, witches, knights, princesses, elves, and creatures never before seen can gather together—and where a community can believe, if only for a day, in its own magic. Tickets, volunteer registration, sponsorship opportunities, and donation information are available at FairyAndArtsFestival.com.
