Basic Knife Skills

Learn to hold and cut correctly, knife safety, how to purchase a quality knife, learn to hone and sharpen a knife, and practice knife cutting techniques including Julienne, Paysanne, Bruinoise, Batonnet, Mincing, Chiffonade, Lozenge, Bias Rondelle, and Dicing an Onion. Participants will create two salsas: Tropical Mango Pineapple Salsa and Mexican Salsa Fresca.
