Grand Opening of the Jackson Home at Greenfield Village

History comes to life in a powerful new way at Greenfield Village with the opening of the Jackson Home, relocated from Selma, Alabama. The home belonged to Dr. Sullivan and Richie Jean Sherrod Jackson, close friends of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and served as an important meeting place during the Civil Rights Movement. Mark a historic milestone with The Henry Ford during the grand opening of the Jackson Home, June 12-14. Join us for a village-wide celebration of community, courage and culture featuring special programs, Southern-inspired food, musical performances and more as we welcome the Jackson Home to the Greenfield Village neighborhood.
