A non-partisan spelling-bee-style competition to test the civics knowledge of middle school students. Twenty students will compete based on a four-paragraph essay on their ideas for improving community. Submissions are being accepted until Feb. 3. Winners will win a cash prize and finalists will be invited to compete in the National Civics Bee championship in the summer.
