MDC evening nature walk at Mount Vernon

The Missouri Department of Conservation will host an evening nature walk featuring a slow-paced walk with naturalists discussing prairie plants, seed dispersal and how root systems survive seasonal changes. Participants can photograph native grasses and late-season asters, listen for migrating songbirds and insects, and look for seed heads and wildlife shelters.
