La Cueva Hike with Archaeologist Garrett

Join BLM archaeologist Garrett at the first La Cueva parking area to learn local ethnobotany and indigenous connections to the land on a hike to the La Cueva rock shelter. (1.4 miles roundtrip). Hikes take place on rough, uneven terrain. Arrive in appropriate footwear/clothing for the weather with sun protection, snacks as needed, and plenty of water.
