Come learn with us! All programs are free to attend except $5/vehicle day-use and as needed. Hike through geologic and human history to learn of Picacho Peak's formation and the history of the Butterfield Trail (geology focus) ~3.5 miles roundtrip. Hikes take place on rough, uneven terrain. Arrive in appropriate footwear/clothing for the weather with sun protection, snacks as needed, and plenty of water.
