Animal Carving Class

The Carpenter’s Boat Shop will host an animal wood-carving class led by artist Eva Sturm-Gross. The class will review basic knife safety as well as instruction on wood grain, surface design, using the band saw, sanding, and finishing. Students will leave the workshop with a small carved animal and the confidence to carve at home using a few affordable tools.
