Data Use in Research: Privacy

This Office of Research and Innovation event will help build the knowledge, skills and awareness of NC State researchers using secondary data or sharing data. We will discuss how to address permission to use the data and navigate the ethical and regulatory use of the data. The session will also cover HIPAA, FERPA, bulk sensitive data rules, export control requirements and NC State's processes and resources for navigating the data sensitivity framework in practice. This session is part of Research Week at NC State.
