Build a Solar Tracker

Get hands-on with the system components behind utility-scale solar at NC State’s Agrivoltaics Training Site. Working as a team with industry professionals from Nevados, participants will assemble a section of the all-terrain solar tracking system. Learn what components do, how the pieces connect, and how the assembled tracker moves. Explore how the site’s new weather station data dashboard provides weather and performance data that informs real-world solar operations decisions. No previous solar experience is needed but registration is required.
