Make & Take: Cutting Boards

In this cutting board class, students will learn how to design and build a durable, food-safe cutting board from hardwood. The course covers selecting and orienting wood grain, gluing up panels, and shaping the board for both function and style. Participants will also learn sanding, edge finishing, and applying a protective oil finish. By the end of the class, each student will take home a beautifully crafted cutting board ready for everyday use.
