Resource Family Orientation

The Alaska Center for Resource Families invites individuals and families across Alaska to a supportive orientation for those interested in becoming resource parents. The orientation explains the mission of the Office of Children’s Services, defines 'resource family', outlines steps to become licensed, reviews the application process, and clarifies available supports. An optional hour-long session for application help follows. Participants must call 1-800-944-8766 and enter code 26867#.
