Fall Hiking Series

Join us for 7 different hikes in the park and state forest. All seven hikes in the series will be between 2-4 miles in length. We will discuss the flora and fauna along the way. This is a perfect time of year to explore, as something new unfolds and the fall foliage takes over. Please wear sturdy shoes, bring bug spray, water, and an item of hunter orange clothing. Rock Oak Hike. Distance is about 3 miles on moderate trails. Sections of the trail will have rocks, roots and be wet and muddy. There is a small stream crossing on this trail. This program will meet at the Rock Oak trailhead, located on North Shore Road.
