Conrad Tao & Caleb Teicher: Counterpoint

Counterpoint is a genre-defying duet where percussive dance and virtuosic piano come together in an electrifying, ever-evolving dialogue. Blending their distinct artistic worlds, Tao and Teicher expand their expressive range through shared creativity and dynamic interplay. The program journeys through a diverse musical landscape—from the Aria of Bach’s Goldberg Variation sand Art Tatum’s wild stride piano to Schoenberg’s ironic Viennese waltz, a delicate piece from their earlier work More Forever, and culminating in Gershwin’s iconic Rhapsody in Blue.
