Zaira Ávalos, a designer, architect, and printmaker from Oaxaca, Mexico, is visiting the Centro Theater Gallery. She creates illustrations primarily about and for Indigenous and Afro-Mexican Oaxacan girls and young women, working to help them understand their rights and participate in political decisions.
